A TRIP WITH ROOM TO BREATHE

The right place.
The right pace.

A Scotland golf trip works best when you choose a region and give it room. Build around St Andrews and Fife, or make East Lothian your base. Trying to play every famous name in one week usually trades time on the course for time on the road.

ONE WAY TO EXPERIENCE IT

A starting point, made yours.

Illustrative itinerary.
All arrangements require confirmation.

Days 1–2

Find your rhythm

Arrive, settle into one base, and start with a manageable opening round. Keep the arrival day flexible for international travel.

Days 3–4

The heart of the trip

Shape your main golf days around confirmed tee times. Leave space for a town walk, a long lunch, and a change in the weather.

Days 5–7

Make room for the unexpected

Add another links round or a second nearby base. Finish with a relaxed evening together before traveling home.

What to know
before you go.

Choosing your base

St Andrews and Fife suit a golf-first trip centered on the town and nearby links. East Lothian is another regional option. Choose one for a shorter stay.

Old Course expectations

The Old Course has its own booking routes and ballot process. An inquiry with Albatross does not include or guarantee a tee time. Confirm the exact access route before committing to a package.

Planning for 2027

The Open returns to St Andrews in July 2027. Check official course closure and event information before fixing your dates; event tickets and a playing tee time are different bookings.
