SPAIN GOLF TRIPS

A southern Spain state of play.

Alcaidesa and the Sotogrande area offer a starting point for an unhurried Andalusian golf trip.

A TRIP WITH ROOM TO BREATHE

The right place.
The right pace.

Choose a compact section of the southern Spanish coast rather than spreading one week across every famous club. A Sotogrande and Alcaidesa itinerary has a different shape from a Marbella-centered stay. Start with the golf wish list and visitor access, then build the hotel and restaurant plans around that route.

ONE WAY TO EXPERIENCE IT

A starting point, made yours.

Illustrative itinerary.
All arrangements require confirmation.

Day 1

Land, unpack, unwind

Choose the arrival airport around the final route. Keep the opening evening close to your base.

Days 2–4

Give the golf some variety

Use Alcaidesa as one starting point, then investigate other visitor-accessible courses in the selected area. Plan one main round per golf day.

Days 5–7

Stay for more than the golf

Leave room for coastal towns and long lunches. Add a second base only if the group has enough nights to enjoy it.

What to know
before you go.

A famous name is a request

Membership rules and visitor windows vary by club. A named course on a wish list is not a promise that it can be included.

Mind the geography

Do not treat Marbella, Sotogrande, and the whole Costa del Sol as one hotel zone. Check each transfer against the actual tee times.

Check documentation and transport

Ask about handicap certificates, cart policies, and club rental needs. Make the vehicle plan fit both the travelers and their golf bags.
